Meet the team

Ewan Foreman, MARLA (Managing Director)

Ewan is a founding Director of 1LET and the current Managing Director. Ewan has extensive experience in both residential and commercial property and takes an active interest in promoting best practice within the private rented sector and within business generally.

Fiona Foreman (Director)

Fiona is responsible for business development and HR. Fiona is also our Company Secretary and is a founding Director of 1LET. When not working it is highly likely that Fiona will be cooking, baking, somewhere outdoors in her trainers or helping family and friends.

Ken Bell MSc, MARLA (Lettings Director)

Ken joined the team in 2008 after further academic study at Heriot-Watt University where he gained an MSc in Urban Real Estate Management and Development. In 2010 Ken became a member of ARLA and in 2012 passed the APIP accreditation exam. Ken is responsible for our property management services and is a Director of 1LET.

Katharine Fyfe (Compliance Manager)

Katharine is responsible for safety compliance, certificate renewals, utilities and essential property records for all managed properties. Katharine has been with 1LET since 2005 and holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.

Jane Aitken (Finance Manager)

Jane has strong and varied experience over many years in company finance and is responsible for all day to day financial and accounting procedures within 1LET. Jane also prepares and presents the monthly accounts and runs an astonishingly unflustered, accurate and tight financial ship.

Rachelle Aitchison (Business Development Manager)

Rachelle joined 1LET in 2013 after graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Business Studies MA (Hons). Her key responsibilites include marketing and business development. When not at work Rachelle likes spending her time doing yoga, learning Italian or socialising with friends!

Craig Lane (Lettings Manager)

Craig joined the 1LET team in December 2017 as Lettings Manager taking over from Beata while she is on maternity leave. Craig is a fully qualified member of ARLA which he gained at the start of 2017. Having lived and worked in Edinburgh for the past three years Craig has built a great knowledge and understanding of the lettings market and looks forward to expanding that knowledge further working with such a great and welcoming team here at 1LET.

Alan Henderson (Property Manager)

We welcomed Alan to the 1LET team in February 2017. Alan brings with him a whole wealth of property management experience. The ‘Customer Experience’ is Alan’s number one priority and he’s excelled in this through many years working in property management in West Lothian and Edinburgh. Alan is delighted to be helping people find new homes, and making sure that existing tenants and landlords have happy tenancies. Having passed the first two units of the ARLA Propertymark qualification, Alan is currently studying for the next two exams. 

Julia Urlicka (Business Administration Trainee)

Julia joined the 1LET team in March 2017 as our Business Administration Trainee and has recently completed her SVQ Level 3 in Business Administration. Julia carries out a range of property administration tasks, providing huge support to other team members (and is highly organised!). When not at work Julia likes spending her time outdoors and looking after her cat Max!

Beata Lozyniak MARLA (Lettings Manager)

Beata joined the 1LET team in November 2015 and is currently on Maternity Leave until March 2019. Beata is a fully qualified member of ARLA having completed her final exam in May 2017. Having worked in letting agencies in Glasgow and Edinburgh since 2007, she has vast experience within the letting industry.  She has managed to develop her skills further because of 1LET’s diverse and exciting working environment. Beata’s passion for properties is ever growing!
