1LET supports Crisis at Christmas

Crisis at Christmas is a lifeline offering support and companionship during the festive period. It also provides an opportunity for their guests to leave homelessness behind for good.

Supporters of Crisis at Christmas including those who donate money, time, skills goods and service enable guests to receive a Christmas meal with all the trimmings. They were also served breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks throughout Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Their team of volunteers served up 554 hot meals and 886 hot drinks

Many guests also enjoyed a hair cut, had their feet checked by a professional podiatrist and took part in health and wellbeing activities.

1LET offered support in the form of a donation of £250.00 which helped them in welcoming 277 homeless people to their Crisis centre in Edinburgh.
