Meet Beata – Our Operations Powerhouse!
At 1Let, we’re lucky to have some truly brilliant people behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly and at the heart of it all is our Operations Director, Beata.
Beata joined the team in November 2015 as a Property Manager, already a seasoned pro with years of experience in letting agencies across Glasgow and Edinburgh. It didn’t take long for her expertise and dedication to shine, by 2017, she’d earned her ARLA certification and was promoted to Lettings Manager. Fast forward to 2020, and she stepped into her current role as Operations Director, where she now keeps the whole team on track (and possibly keeps us all in line!).
Simply put, Beata is the glue that holds 1Let together. She’s not just about processes and efficiency (though she’s brilliant at that too)—she’s a mentor, coach, and all-around team cheerleader. Whether it’s helping colleagues develop their skills, solving problems before anyone even realises they exist, or just offering a friendly ear, Beata makes 1Let a better place every day.
So, what’s her secret to staying organised? For Beata, it’s all about structure and smart planning. Starting with her trusty to-do lists. There’s one for daily priorities, another for the bigger picture, and even a ‘when time allows’ list to keep future goals in sight. But her real productivity hack? Calendar reminders for everything - because, as she puts it, 'If it’s not in my calendar, it might as well not exist.
If 1Let were a reality show, Beata would be the Firefighter: always ready to tackle challenges, keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, and handle the unexpected with a cool head. She thrives in the fast-paced environment, secretly loving the chaos (just not the actual fires!)
And if she weren’t in property management? Beata has two dream alternatives: running a cosy little café/bookstore, where she’d probably drink more coffee than she sells, or traveling the world, eating her way through every country, and living her best life as a pretend travel blogger (with a camera roll full of food and cocktail photos, of course).
When she’s not making magic happen at work, Beata loves spending quality time with her family, bringing the same warmth and dedication to home life as she does to the office.
