Citylets, the popular Scottish Lettings Portal, have just released their Q1 Report on the Scottish lettings market. It “records moderate positive annual growth in the Scottish PRS at 1.7%” and “Despite mixed signals, Edinburgh rents rose to a new all-time high of £1115 per month on average but with a lengthening time to let (TTL) as more tenants shop around before committing”. This news reflects what 1LET have experienced in the first quarter of 2019. The number of properties on the market is considerably higher in relation to the same time last year giving tenants more choice and lengthening the time to let.
