1Let has been named a finalist for Residential Letting Team of the Year at the Scottish Home Awards 2026

We’ll be heading through to Glasgow on 18th June for the awards ceremony - and safe to say, the team is already looking for an excuse to celebrate.

So… how did this happen?

Honestly? By sticking to what we’ve always believed in.

No gimmicks. No cutting corners. Just:

• Looking after landlords properly
• Treating tenants like people
• Managing homes the way we’d want ours to be managed

We now look after 400+ homes across Edinburgh and beyond - and most of that growth has come from word of mouth, recommendations and people doing their research before choosing who to trust.

That means a lot to us.

What we’re really proud of

Being shortlisted is amazing - but what matters most is why we’ve been shortlisted.

Over the past year:

• Most of our tenancies have been stable and running smoothly
• Rent arrears have stayed low and well managed
• We’ve kept around 91% of our properties occupied
• We’ve built up 800+ reviews with an average of 4.8 stars
• And (this one’s our favourite) 100% of landlords in our latest survey said they’d recommend us

But beyond the numbers, it’s the feedback that really sticks with us - from tenants who feel respected, and landlords who feel supported.

That’s what we’re aiming for every day.

It’s all about the people

This isn’t just about “1Let” - it’s about the team behind it.

The people answering calls, chasing contractors, solving problems, keeping things calm when things get stressful… and genuinely caring about doing a good job.

We put a lot into supporting our team (training, development, wellbeing - the whole lot), because happy, confident people deliver better service. Simple as that.

A tough market… but a good one

Lettings in Scotland isn’t easy just now - there’s a lot of regulation, a lot of change, and a lot to keep up with.

But we actually think that’s a good thing.

It raises standards, and it makes it clearer who’s really doing the job properly.
